Lavender Dreams Farm - Growing Organic Lavender Since 2002

We grow and sell organic lavender and handmade lavender products to raise money for the care and feeding of our rescued animals. 100% of the proceeds go towards the animals and their needs. Thank you for choosing us! Your support allows us to continue our work saving one animal at a time.

I have always loved growing herbs and we have always had small vegetable gardens but I have dreamed of starting and caring for my own lavender field for almost 30 years. We moved to Washington State in late Spring of 2002. That Summer I went to a Master Gardener talk at a local lavender farm and realized that my dream could come true! We had the right type of soil and an open field with just the right drainage and so I started right in! I read everything I could find in print on the subject and spent night and day online reading about varieties, care and harvesting. Wendy Kapelke from Le Clerc Creek Lavender gave us tiny seedlings in exchange for weeding her fields and that is how our lavender field began.

Today we offer 15 different varieties of organic lavender and a wide assortment of natural lavender products.

Lavender Dryer Sheets

Why use chemically scented dryer sheets when you can make your own with pure essential oils. Your laundry will smell wonderful!

Basic essential oil blend:

½ part lavender essential oil
  ½ part benzoin essential oil
  1 small dropper bottle

1. Unscented dryer sheets (I use Method as Bounce Free is made by Proctor & Gamble who test on animals)
 2. An airtight container to store scented dryer sheets.
Make base essential oil by mixing the two oils in equal amounts into a small dropper bottle. Shake well.

Take 12 dryer sheets and put 6 drops of the essential oil base on each one. Put into an airtight container such as a ziploc bag or empty wet ones container. Take out one at a time as needed for the dryer.

Use as you would a normal dryer sheet.
Keep the essential oil base that you have left to make more are you need them.
